From Orlando, Fl., Veronika blends energy medicine, crystals, color therapy, and other natural elements to her abstract and brightly colored artwork. She works as a the Healing arts director to an Orlando Non-profit called, “Heroes of Freedom.” She leads Holistic therapeutic workshops to disabled veterans, consisting of intuitive art classes, yoga, reiki and poetry. A veteran herself, she knows the importance of complementary medicine. She served two tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2001-2005 as a Marine Corps combat journalist. Her experience has launched her on a healing journey. An Aquarius, and often a rebel to societal norms, she spent six months of 2013 living outside in off-the-grid secluded cabins and in tents in the mountains of N. California and Asheville, NC. While living in the Appalachian mountains of N.C., she began her passion for harvesting wild foods and plant medicines. Traveling mainly by her car named, “Gerty,” she has put over 70,000 miles in the past two years during her cross country healing road trips. She has also recently began her Peruvian Shaman medicine woman apprenticeship and hopes to apply these energy skills to her healing art in the future. Her artwork is created with the intention of love, healing and consciousness expansion.
